  • Resumen
    • "Rapasaari is a promising lithium prospect and we have good indications that the deposit will add to the resource base for future lithium production," explained Keliber CEO, Olle Siren.

"Spodumene pegmatite veins in Rapasaaret are weakly zoned. In most cases, the amount of Li (spodumene) increases and the amounts of Na (albite) and especially K (potassium feldspar) decrease from the wall zone to the core. Similarly, a higher Na content seems to correspond to a lower Li content," the report added.

"The aim of the official complaint is to change the permit conditions so that it would be possible to do exploration in the area also during the winter and at the same time secure the good quality of the territory of the golden eagle and assure the successful nesting in the other nests of the territory," a release on Keliber's website outlined.
