Resumen de El trabajo social sanitario y su reconocimiento como profesión sanitaria

Lo que se pretende en este artículo es un análisis del trabajo social dentro del Sistema Nacional de Salud y, por lo tanto, dentro de cada uno de los servicios de salud de las comunidades autónomas que conforman el Estado español.
¿Por qué el trabajo social dentro de las instituciones sanitarias no se considera una profesión sanitaria? ¿Qué tenemos actualmente que nos lleve a poder argumentar con fundamento que somos una profesión sanitaria? ¿Qué características profesionales cumplimos que nos hagan pensar que somos una profesión sanitaria? ¿Qué base formativa tenemos para demandar ese reconocimiento profesional? Para ello, se ha estudiado y analizado diversa bibliografía y la normativa vigente relacionada con la formación y el reconocimiento como profesión sanitaria de los trabajado- res sociales sanitarios, ellas y ellos, dentro del sistema sanitario.

What is the aim of this article is an analysis of Social work within the national health system and, therefore, within each of the health services of the autonomous communities that make up the Spanish State. Why Social work within health institutions not considered a health profession? What we have currently that lead us to be able to argue with the Foundation, we are a health profession? Professional characteristics that would comply to make us think that we are a health profession? What educational basis we have to sue that professional recognition? To do this, he has studied and analyzed different bibliography and legislation related to the formation and recognition as a health profession in health care social workers, they and them, within the health system.
