Con el presente trabajo la autora realiza un comentario sobre la única, por el momento, sentencia del Tribunal Supremo relativa a una opositora perteneciente a la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día. El Alto Tribunal afi rmará que los poderes públicos deben atender al mandato constitucional de no ser sólo garantes, sino también sujetos promocionales de la libertad ideológica y religiosa ex artículo 9.2, buscando un acomodo razonable para evitar una injerencia en la libertad religiosa de los opositores, sin comprometer la realización de un fi n legítimo como lo constituye el correcto desarrollo de unas pruebas selectivas públicas.

In this paper the author makes a comment about the only, for the moment, the Supreme Court ruling on an opposition belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The High Court will affi rm that public authorities should address the constitutional mandate of not being only guarantors, but also promotional subjects of ideological and religious freedom ex Article 9.2, looking for a reasonable accommodation to avoid interference with the religious freedom of opponents, without compromising the performance of a legitimate aim as it is the correct development of a test selective public.
