    En el siglo XIX surge el concepto de confort a la vez que se desarrolla la vivienda de la burguesía, símbolo de la vida familiar y sus valores. El objetivo es ver cómo este concepto, que se generalizó en las últimas décadas de la centuria, tuvo también un papel importante en la arquitectura doméstica del centro de Palencia. Sin embargo, un grave problema dificulta el estudio de este tipo de arquitectura: la desaparición prácticamente total de la arquitectura doméstica de este periodo en el que se conserve cualquier rastro de su estructura original

    Along the XIX Century the concept of comfot arise, at the same time the bourgeoisie housing, symbol of familiar live and its values is developed. The objective of this lecture is to analyze this concept, which on the one hand has bee generalized over the last decades of the century and, on the order, has an important role into de domestic architecture at the Palencia center. However, an important problem makes difficult the study of this kind of architecture: the vanishing nearly as a whole of the domestic architecture from this period in which we can observe any trace of its original structure.
