Resumen de Educação civilizatória como alicerce para a introdução das Ciências na Amazônia oriental

  Schools played an important role in the introduction process of civilized culture in the Amazon. First the schools models determined by the medieval heritage and then by modernity. Our goal is to analyze how the elements of civilization introduced by these schools invaded the native culture, opening trenches for the introduction of modern sciences in this region. Schools built in the Eastern Amazon - where today is located the State of Pará - were important in this process, as the St. Alexander, built by the Jesuits and the Para Lyceum, by the state government. For this reason focus our analysis on this region.

  Escolas tiveram um papel importante no processo de introdução da cultura civilizada na Amazônia. Primeiro os modelos de escolas determinados pela herança medieval e a seguir pelos padrões da modernidade. Nosso objetivo é analisar como os elementos da civilização introduzidos por essas escolas invadiram a cultura nativa, abrindo trincheiras para a introdução das ciências modernas, nessa região. Colégios construídos na Amazônia Oriental - onde hoje se situa o Estado do Pará - foram importantes para esse processo, como o colégio Santo Alexandre, construído pelos jesuítas e o Liceu Paraense, pelo governo do Estado. Por esse motivo centraremos nossa análise nesta região.
