Resumen de El entrenamiento en habilidades sociales y su impacto en la convivencia escolar dentro de un grupo de primaria

  El término de convivencia escolar se entiende como la relación establecida entre los diferentes miembros de la comunidad educativa teniendo incidencia significativa en el desarrollo integral de los alumnos (Tuvilla, 2004). Existen múltiples variables que tienen correlación con este elemento de entre los cuales están las competencias sociales (Berra y Dueñas, 2009). En el presente trabajo se describen la aplicación y el diseño de dos estrategias elaboradas bajo la técnica del Entrenamiento en Habilidades Sociales, las cuales tienen como objetivo impactar en la convivencia escolar en un grupo de 12 niños de cuarto año de primaria. Se procedió primeramente con observaciones realizadas dentro del aula, después se elaboraron las actividades y se implementaron a los niños seleccionados, evaluando su eficacia con preguntas reflexivas y ensayos conductuales y mediante una entrevista semiestructurada con la maestra titular. En los resultados obtenidos se observó que durante las sesiones los niños no tenían problemas para distinguir entre conductas socialmente positivas y negativas pero hubo dificultad a la hora de los ensayos de conducta. La entrevista con la maestra titular evidenció un cambio en la convivencia escolar dentro del salón de clases, sin embargo las habilidades adquiridas sólo fueron implementadas en situaciones específicas por lo que se vuelve indispensable la integración de elementos o la modificación de las actividades para la generalización y formación de competencias sociales.

  he term school coexistence is understood as the established relationship between the diferent members of the educational community, having a signiicant impact on the integral development of the students (Tuvilla 2004). here are multiple variables correlating to this element; one of those variables is the social competence (Berra y Dueñas, 2009) In the present assignment, the application and design of two elaborated strategies are described as the Training in Social Abilities Technique, with the main objective of having an impact in the school coexistence and relationship of a group of twelve 4th graders. First of all, we proceeded by observing the behavior of the children in the classroom, then, we looked at the planned activities delivered to the selected children, we evaluated the efectiveness of such activities through relective questions, conductual tests, and through a semistructured interview with the appointed teacher. he results of delivered activities showed that the children had no problem in distinguishing between socially positive and negative conducts, but there were some problems when testing such behavior. here was an increase and an improvement of classroom relationships , as noted by the teacher in the interview, but the acquired social skills were only implemented in speciic situations, which makes it necessary to either integrate new elements or modify the activities for the generalization and formation of social competence and skills.
