    Alternative food networks between local and global: the case study of the Presidium of the Piemontese cattle breed. – This paper attempts to offer an explanation of the reason why, differently from other Slow Food presidia, the Presidium of the Piemontese cattle breed, La Granda, is having an increasing commercial success. We present an ethnographic account of the Presidium’s development inspired by Michel Callon’s theorization of ‘translation’. The analysis will show that the alliance with a specific macro-actor (the food mall Eataly) has been crucial to amplify La Granda’s commercial success well beyond Cuneo’s area, where this specific presidium originates.

    Reseaux alimentaires alternatifs parmi le local et le global: le cas d’étude du Présidium de la race bovine piémontaise. – Cet article tente de donner une explication de la raison par la quelle, différemment des autres sentinelles Slow Food presidia, le Présidium de la race bovine piémontaise, «La Granda», connaît un succès commercial croissant. Nous présentons un décompte ethnographique du développement du Présidium inspirée de la théorisation de Michel Callon de «la traduction». L’analyse montre que l’alliance avec un acteur macro spécifique (le mall alimentaire Eataly) a été déterminant pour amplifier le succès commercial de «La Granda» bien au-delà de la région de Cuneo, d’où est originaire le Présidium spécifique.
