    El presente texto analiza la génesis, evolución y organización del Museo Diocesano de Arte Sacro de Palencia a través de un recorrido espacio-temporal que muestra los aspectos institucionales, la distribución de sus salas y secciones y las principales obras artísticas, con la finalidad de dar a conocer la singularidad del Patrimonio histórico y cultural de la Diócesis desde una triple perspectiva: el Arte, la fe y la evangelización.

    This article analyses the foundation, evolution and organization of the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art of Palencia throughout a time-space review which deals with the institutional organization chart, the room and sections distribution and its main artworks. The main aim of this paper is to show the singularity of the historical and cultural heritage of the Diocese from a threefold perspective: Art, Faith and Evangelization.
