  • It would be easy to say exchange rates and freight costs, but more complex in my opinion is the'uniqueness' of many refractory materials. Since there are no industry standards and most applications have their own very specific requirements, locating the optimum material source is a very interesting challenge.

    Prior to FMC, [Michael Seawright] was employed at Food Mineral Co.'s lithium operations in Kings Mountain, also in North Carolina, in the spodumene processing plants and quality control labs.

    Bernard Pryor is replacing Keith Calder as executive director and CEO of African Minerals, effective immediately. Pryor joined the board of African Minerals in 2011, and is currently a non-executive independent director of AML. He was previously CEO of Q Resources Plc, and prior to that held senior executive positions as head of business development at Anglo American between 2006 and 2010, and as CEO of Anglo Ferrous Brazil Inc.
