    • One recently circulated newsletter, entitled The Graphite/Graphene Cash Machine, informed recipients that "small graphite stocks are making savvy investors HUGE profits in a matter of weeks", and invited "fellow investors" to "cash in on the greatest materials bonanza since the invention of plastic", citing share gains of over 2,000%, in some cases.

Other sites state their "strong belief" that "the penny stock market can powerfully reward average traders", and that graphite "has the potential to be an enormous moneymaker for quick-moving investors".

"We don't run our company like that nor do we associate with people who do," [Anthony Huston] told IM, adding, "I always tell investors to check out the management and the asset [and whether it has] an NI 43-101".
