In this study, the author reflects freely about the notion of creativity through dialog with the works of Matthew Lipman, based particularly on the translation and adaptation for the Spanish-speaking world of his novel Suki and the manual that corresponds to it, Writing: How and Why? The author is especially concerned about how complex and paradoxical it seems to speak of creativity from a philosophical perspective, and even though the Philosophy for Children program does not propose to analyze what it means to “be creative”, it does present the fundamental suppositions based on which it makes sense to speak of “creative thought.”
