Notes for a speech about the Christian concept of Health, this intends to be an open reflection starting from a concept of specific man (anthropos): the human being who, when created, receives Life as a yift, and conceives of it as an space of happy coexistence. This reflection about Health does not ignore the human reality: the limitation, the worries, the dependencies, ..., that is to say, illness. The human reality is experienced and felt from its own personal singularity, and from the socio-cultural plurality of being human. Health is considered to be experience, wellbeing, and responsibility towards oneself and towards the society. Health is considered to be an expression of our own freedom and love (good) that is translated as justice: that is to say, as the right to enjoy the satisfaction of living, and as the duty to ensure that this is so. Health is considered to be the whole salvation of man, who becomes real in his living present, with a perspective of the future that culminates in God.
