Resumen de El carácter bipolar del Prácticum de Magisterio: un reto para la innovación

La formación práctica es una actividad innovadora que se ha integrado en los currícula de las carreras universitarias, a causa de las exigencias del mundo contemporáneo y de la necesidad de impartir una enseñanza orientada al mercado de trabajo. El Prácticum de Magisterio se mueve entre las exigencias de la sociedad, el discurso sobre su utilidad y necesidad, y las críticas sobre el incumplimiento de los objetivos que se propone. En este trabajo se revisan los componentes de esta situación, así como el papel concreto de la figura del tutor académico.

Practical training is an innovative activity that has been integrated into the curricula of university courses, because of the demands of the contemporary world and the need to provide a market-oriented teaching work. The Teaching Practicum moves between the demands of society, the discourse on their usefulness and necessity, and criticism on the failure of the objectives proposed. In this paper the components of this situation and the specific role of the figure of academic tutor are reviewed.
