    La curiosidad alrededor de la muerte ha llevado a que se estudie y se convierta en un cimiento cultural con diversos cambios a lo largo de los siglos. Sus personificaciones, principalmente aquellas de orden antropomórfico, son parte de la mitología que rodea al entendimiento de la muerte. En el presente artículo se analizan los cambios que tuvo aquella imaginería en la Baja Edad Media, a consecuencia de los eventos catastróficos por los que pasaba el hombre producto de la terrorífica peste negra y que permitieron establecer la visión de la muerte que tenemos hasta estos días.

    Curiosity about death has led to this topic being studied and become a cultural foundation that has had several changes over the centuries. His impersonations, especially those of anthropomorphic order, are part of the interesting mythology surrounding the understanding of death. In this article the changes that had that imagery during the late Middle Ages, as a result of catastrophic events that happened to man in those years product of the terrifying Black Death that allowed to establish the vision of skeletal death are analyzed, with a black cloak and a scythe, we have to this day.
