Resumen de La correspondencia entre particulares del siglo XVI: estudio de los adverbios

La documentación privada es, sin duda, una base interesante para el estudio del español, sobre todo si nos referimos a épocas pasadas para las que carecemos de testimonios orales, como es el siglo XVI. Se han seleccionado 30 cartas emparentadas con la provincia de Cádiz de la segunda mitad del siglo, a partir de las cuales se ha realizado un estudio sobre los adverbios, contrastado con un corpus más amplio de 640 cartas de distintos orígenes. Se concluye que el predominio de adverbios calificativos –adjetivos adverbiales, adverbios de modo y adverbios en –mente– y adverbios cuantitativos está directamente relacionado con el contenido argumentativo de los documentos, así como la abundancia de adverbios deícticos no puede separarse del género textual, pues vinculan el contenido con el espacio de destinatario y remitente. En este trabajo se hace especial hincapié en los adverbios que funcionan más allá de la oración.

Private documentation is certainly an interesting basis for studying the Spanish language, especially when we talk about the past, for which we have not oral testimony, as in the sixteenth century. We have selected 30 letters related to the province of Cadiz of the second half of XVI century. From this set of cards we made a study of adverbs, contrasted with a corpus of 640 letters from various backgrounds. It is concluded that the prevalence of qualifying adverbs –adverbial adjectives, adverbs of manner and adverbs ending in –mente– and quantitative adverbs is directly related to argumentative content of the documents, as well as the abundance of deictic adverbs cannot been separated of the textual genre, because they link the content with the sender and recipient communication space. Here the emphasis is on the adverbs that work out the sentence.
