Para Bujanda, las transformaciones sociales, por lo tanto, estructurales, conllevan a un nuevo discurso del orden. Así, articula su estudio entre el "discurso del Amo" y el "discurso de la Universidad" dentro del panorama venezolano a partir de El Caracazo, en 1989. La opinión del experto ante la opinión del líder, en medio de una conflictividad alimentada por la propia imposibilidad de suplantarse mutuamente. También traslada el conflicto al escenario mediático, palestra donde se debaten las teorías de unos y otros buscando legitimidad. La complejidad del momento histórico no permite una clara comprensión de la política actual, fruto de las convulsiones estructurales del pasado. Es ahora cuando los discursos construidos desde los dos sectores no reconocen al otro y sienten su estancamiento. Se parte de un 27 de febrero para llegar a un punto más allá del realismo mágico, en el que, viendo su complejidad, la verdad tiene forma de ficción.

For Bujanda, social -and therefore structural- transformations involve a new discourse of order.
