To mitigate the effects of the economic and employment crisis that began in 2007, immigrants have deployed various strategies, among which geographic mobility. This paper investigates migration of Romanians in Spain and from Spain in recent times. Two sources of information are used: statistics and testimonies of immigrants. Results show the significant increase in the inner movement of workers in the early years and the progressive increase of the outputs, either to return to the place of origin, emigration to other countries or movement between different places. In general, these movements had not been planned in advance, they respond to the search for opportunities and are supported in social networks. However, despite the intensity of the crisis, most immigrants remain in the host venue for several reasons.
