El nombramiento del presidente del Gobierno es, sin duda, un paso importante e ineludible que debe realizarse tras la celebración de elecciones. This is even more relevant when you consider the limitations of the government in terms of its temporary nature. However, in Spain, the Government extended its period throughout almost all of 2016 since the lack of consensus among political parties and the repetition of the elections prevented the appointment of the president and the formation of the Government.
