Resumen de Constructivismo y construccionismo social: Algunos puntos comunes y algunas divergencias de estas corrientes teóricas

  Este artículo se deriva de la investigación documental “Fundamentos del construccionismo social y prácticas terapéuticas inspiradas en éstos”, en la cual se abordan tópicos como las raíces y los fundamentos del construccionismo social, las diferencias con el constructivismo y los aportes que de él han tomado los enfoques de terapia narrativa y terapia colaborativa. El propósito de este artículo es aportar nuevas comprensiones a los profesionales interesados en el tema de la epistemología en la terapia familiar, acerca de las concordancias y discrepancias del constructivismo y el construccionismo social, ya que si bien estas corrientes teóricas comparten algunos de sus fundamentos, difieren en otros que es necesario comprender para una práctica social y terapéutica.

  This article is derived from the documentary research “Fundamentos del construccionismo social y prácticas terapéuticas inspiradas en éstos” (“Foundations of social constructionism, and therapeutic practices inspired by them”), which approaches topics such as the roots and foundations of social constructionism, its differences with constructivism, and its contributions to approaches such as narrative therapy and collaborative therapy. The purpose of this paper is to provide new insights to professionals interested in epistemology within the field of family therapy, considering the common interests and differences of constructivism and social constructionism because, although these schools of thought share some of their fundamentals, they also have some differences which need to be understood in order to perform a social and therapeutic practice.
