  En el contexto del siglo XXI, hay una tendencia cada vez mayor hacia elautoempleo y los emprendimientos, aunque quizás por distintos motivos, yseguramente en condiciones totalmente diferentes en los países desarrolladosy subdesarrollados. El emprendimiento en algunos casos, es una opcióny en otros simplemente una necesidad. Durante el siglo XX, las mujeresnos hemos incorporado al trabajo, y ahora, en el siglo XXI, nos estamosconvirtiendo en emprendedoras y empresarias. Este trabajo intentaráexplorar cómo son las mujeres emprendedoras, cuáles son sus dificultadesy oportunidades, y cómo manejan los emprendimientos.

  In the context of 21st century, there exist a growing tendency to self-employment and undertaking productive initiatives, though obeying to different reasons, and surely under very different conditions when comparing between developed and underdeveloped countries. In some cases, this undertaking means a real option, and in other is born of a simple need. During 20th century, we women incorporated into labour and now in this new century we are becoming businesswomen and enterprisers. This paper intends to explore how enterpriser women really are, which difficulties and chances they face up, and how they address their productive initiatives.
