De la Poza Moreno (1990) define el envejecimiento prematuro como la disminuciónde la vida laboral, material y mental provocada por el propio trabajo.El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar los factores que incidenen la mujer trabajadora del sector informal y el proceso de envejecimientoprematuro. Esta investigación no está concluida y los resultados obtenidoshasta el momento evidencian que el entorno familiar es importantepara lograr la longevidad. Por otra parte, las condiciones higiénicos-sanitarias,las inadecuadas condiciones de trabajo, la falta de reposo y los factoresexternos son determinantes y significativos en el deterioro y envejecimientoen este grupo de trabajadoras.

De la Poza Moreno (1990) gives a definition of aging as the diminution of working, material and mental life caused by the work made. The purpose of this essay is to identify those factors acting upon the woman working in the nonformal sector and the premature process of getting older. This research is not finished yet, and the results obtained up to the present evidence that family setting is quite important for longevity. On the other hand, the conditions of health and sanity, inadequate working conditions, lack of rest, and external factors are determinant and significant on deterioration and aging suffered by this group of feminine workers.
