The debate of the last decades on the feminist critic of science has put into play the women role and the diversity of women in the scientific field. In that intersection it becomes significant the singularity of the geneticist and Nobel prize Barbara McClintock, who was demanded like referring of authority as much from different feminists positions as by the own scientific community, without she participated directly in the provoked controversy
