Resumen de Violencia machista e informativos de televisión: faltan voces acreditadas

  El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar las declaraciones que utilizaron los informativos televisivos españoles de ámbito nacional durante el año 2012 en sus noticias sobre violencia machista. Se utilizó una metodología mixta realizando entrevistas en profundidad a los actores implicados y un análisis de todos los noticiarios de ese año en las cadenas TVE, A3, Cuatro, T5 y La Sexta. Los resultados dicen que, en términos generales, los informativos no utilizan las voces de expertos, por lo que es más difícil penetrar en la conciencia social, que arrincona este tipo de noticias al ámbito de los sucesos.

  The aim of this paper is to analyze the statements used in the Spanish televisión networks news programming when discussing gender-based violence in 2012. We took a dual approach based on conducting in-depth interviews with those making the editorial decisions, as well as analyzing every news segment aired during thar year in TVE, A3, Cuatro, T5 and La Sexta. The results show that, generally, news reports did not include soundbites from experts, making it more difficult to build social awareness and 1008-1028thus limiting the scope of this kind of reports to the usual 'crime beat'.
