Los decenios en los que la segunda ola del feminismo coincide con una serie de dictaduras que se ciernen sobre la mitad del continente, marcan el despunte de la novela hispanoamericana escrita por mujeres. Tras siglos de silencio, a excepción de algunas escritoras, ahora son ellas las que toman la palabra para subvertir el orden autoritario imperante. Un denominador común para la mayor parte de estas novelas es que se construyen en torno al cuerpo, cuerpo doliente y cuerpo expectante. Esta espera, precisamente, constituye el tema del presente análisis, cuyo propósito es detectar dónde termina la influencia del primer fenómeno (feminismo) y dónde empieza el impacto del segundo (dictadura).

The decades in which the second wave of feminism coincides with a series of dictatorships that threaten half the continent, mark the beginning and development of the Hispano-American novel written by woman. After centuries of silence, with a few exceptions, women raise their voices to subvert the authoritarian, ruling regime. The characteristic common to most of these novels is that they are constructed around the body, the body in pain and the body in waiting. This very waiting constitutes the aim of this paper, whose purpose is to detect where the influence of the first phenomenon (feminism) finishes and where the impact of the second one (dictatorship) begins.
