    El diagnóstico del tumor raquídeo como causa de lumbociát!ca tiene sus características clínicas propias. La histología de los tumores en los niños corresponde a tipos congénitos y en los adultos a los tumores originados en las meninges, raíces nerviosas y epéndimo. La mielografía es fundamental para su diagnóstico.

    The diagnosis of the tumor of the spina! cord as a cause for the sciatic pain is easy to reach through its own clinical appearance. The histology of these tumors differs from the young to the adults. The former are the congenital types and the latter are from membranes and nervous roots origin. The mielography is the most important exploration.
