  • Resumen
    • This month IM will host its second oilfield minerals roundtable in Houston, Oilfield Minerals Outlook 2013, its fourth oilfield minerals roundtable in the series. In this market at least the future looks bright as more and more countries join the fracking revolution. This will lead to increased demand for oilfield minerals such as barytes (pp39-45) and frac sand (pp47-53), as well as increased pressure on logistics (pp36-37) and processing (pp 56-59). To learn more, why not attend the event - tickets are still available.

For IM, May has been an exciting month also as the Industrial Minerals Data service hit screens for the first time. The service, which Industrial Minerals Data Manager, Simon Moores, and his team have been working around the clock to bring online, brings you a more in-depth look at some of the minerals IM has been focusing on for so many years.

It is amid this climate that Industrial Minerals has created a new business with mineral pricing at its core. Industrial Minerals Data has launched two new online services for graphite and fluorspar; mineral-specific, niche, online services that focus solely on price collection and analysis.
