This article tackles the language uses of the word night in the New Testament in its original Greek version, based on the analysis of the noun ???, in which, on the one hand, the idea of darkness is implied with negative aspects and, on the other hand, it is distinguished as the moment of God's salvation that meets the man when he is defenseless.
