Ophiognomonia melanostyla is reported from Bulgaria (Vitosha region) and Turkey (Mt. Strandzha), while O. setacea represents a new find from Greece (Epirus region). Quercus castaneifolia and Q. trojana are recorded as new host plants of O. setacea. Morphological descriptions, color illustrations and additional information about the new finds are included. Data on the Gnomoniaceae from Bulgaria and the adjacent Balkan countries are summarized.
