    La construcción de grandes urbes ha traído aparejada la aparición de especies exóticas que la habitan. Estas han sido observadas, estudiadas, construidas conceptualmente, perseguidas, controladas e incluso, cazadas hasta su extinción. Nuestro interés reposa en el querido flâneur, aquel paseante anónimo que se pensaba y creaba con cada recorrido de la ciudad. Deseamos acompañar al flâneur en su recorrido de las ciudades actuales, y pensar si hay posibilidades para su existencia en un contexto de vigilancia y control por las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación, en constante generación de datos como la geolocalización. ¿Podrá escapar de este escenario o deberá transformarse usando las mismas herramientas que amenazan su mera existencia?

    The construction of large cities has brought with it the appearance of exotic species that inhabit it. These have been observed, studied, built conceptually, persecuted, controlled and even hunted to extinction. Our interest lies in the flâneur, that anonymous passerby whom was able to tought and create his very own persona with every tour through the city. We’d like to walk along the flâneur in its route of today’s cities, and think if there are possibilities for its existence in the actual context of monitoring and controlling devices by information and communication technologies, constantly generating data such as geolocation. Is there any escape from this scenario or it must be a radical transformation of the flâneur using the same tools that threaten their very existence?
