La evaluación en la Universidad: análisis teórico desde las representaciones sociales y la subjetividad

    Cada instancia de lo social está impregnada de subjetividad, y  ésta determina nuestras acciones y decisiones. Cuando un docente evalúa, está poniendo de manifiesto la selección de instrumentos y las  teorías pedagógicas que los sustentan y organizan. Y desde ese lugar de la elección consideramos que existen representaciones sociales que la determinan.Las representaciones colectivas resumen las formas de pensamiento imperantes en una sociedad, las cuales se derraman a todos los integrantes de la misma. Así el individuo será “persona” mediante la inclusión de ese pensamiento colectivo formado por valores, mitos, creencias y normas.Cuando hacemos referencia a la subjetividad estamos hablando del sujeto que se opone al objeto, no negándolo pero sí trascendiéndolo. Definiendo al individuo desde sus concepciones del mundo. Cumpliendo funciones de, identidad al aportar materiales que definen su  pertenencia social; de práctica en lo que refiere a elaboración de propias experiencias y de conocimiento en el sentido de contribución de la construcción de la realidad. La subjetividad propia de cada uno va a atravesar las prácticas profesionales y obviamente la toma de decisiones en el campo de la evaluación.

    Each request within the social environment is pervaded by subjectivity and this thought or feeling determines our actions or taking of decisions. At the moment a Proffesor is testing his students, he is showing the testing instruments he has chosen and the teaching and learning theories which support them. It is at that point, when the choice is made, that there seem to be social representations to bring it about. Social representations summarize different ways of thinking prevailing in a society and its members are scattered with these thoughts. Thus, a subject will be considered a “person” by the inclusion of that collective way of thinking made up of values, myths beliefs and social rules. When we refer to subjectivity, we talk about the individual, that is, the subject as opposed to the object, making him trascend, rather than refusing him. We define what a single human is, taking into account its world conception. The subject is viewed as someone who constructs his identity as he makes his own material contributions to society in order to take a social stance and as one who creates his own experiences and knowledge. Each individual will go through his professional training and make a decisión on testing, and it is there, that subjectivity will play a role.
