Compreensões sobre o momento contemporâneo da saída da religião e sobre a condição atual da laicidade

    This paper is the result of three interviews held in Paris, between the months of October and November 2015. Respondants were: the philosopher Marcel Gauchet, diretor of studies at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes EHESS; political scientist and historian of secularity, Philippe Portier, diretor of studies at the École Pratique des Hautes Études EPHE Paris-Sorbonne and historian Didier Da Silva, professor of history of ideas at the Institut Catholique de Paris. The goal pursued in the context of these interviews is related to the understanding of a current perspective of religion output at the thought of Gauchet, the subject of my post-doctoral research at PUC Minas, Belo Horizonte, and at the National Program for Postdoctoral PNPD, Capes. The considerations which led the analysis proposed in this paper are guided by understanding effort of some of the characteristics of the religious phenomenon in the contemporary context. What we wonder and what is defined in this effort of understanding are the reconfigurations that mark the current stage of relations between politics and religion - reconfigurations demarcating the permeabilities and the limits of the overall spectrum of those relations. In addition, more particularly, what we present here are some thoughts on the condition of secularity and religion exit in the Brazilian context.

     Esta comunicação é fruto de três entrevistas realizadas em Paris, entre os meses de outubro e novembro de 2015. Os entrevistados foram: o filósofo Marcel Gauchet, diretor de estudos junto à École des Hautes Études EHESS; o cientista político e historiador das laicidades, Philippe Portier, diretor de estudos junto à École Pratique des Hautes Ètudes EPHE Paris-Sorbonne; e o historiador Didier Da Silva, professor de história das ideias no Institut Catholique de Paris. O objetivo buscado no âmbito destas entrevistas está relacionado com a compreensão de uma perspectiva atual da saída da religião no pensamento de Gauchet, tema de minha pesquisa pós-doutoral junto à PUC Minas de Belo Horizonte e junto ao Programa Nacional de Pós-doutorado PNPD da Capes. As reflexões que conduziram as análises propostas neste texto estão pautadas pelo esforço compreensivo de algumas das características do fenômeno religioso no contexto contemporâneo. O que se indagou e se definiu este esforço compreensivo, são as reconfigurações que marcam o cenário atual das relações entre política e religião e que, por sua vez, delimitam as permeabilidades e os limites do espectro geral dessas mesmas relações. Além disso, de modo mais particular, apresenta-se aqui algumas reflexões sobre a condição de laicidade e de saída da religião no contexto brasileiro.
