    La instauración del paradigma neoliberal en el campo argentino desde la década de 1970 afectó profundamente a las producciones agroindustriales. En dicho contexto, reconstruiremos los cambios en la estructura agraria del Valle del Famatina en la provincia de La Rioja (Argentina) haciendo hincapié en la aparición de nuevos actores, que beneficiados por ciertas políticas públicas, pudieron concentrar tierra y agua. En contraste, caracterizaremos las pequeñas y medianas producciones enfatizando en la forma en que gestionan sus recursos hídricos. Para abordar dicha temática recurriremos tanto a fuentes estadísticas como a entrevistas en profundidad.

    The instauration of the neoliberal paradigm in the argentine country from the 1970 decade deeply affected the agroindustrial productions. In this context, we will reconstruct the changes in the agrarian structure in the Famatina Valley, in La Rioja province (Argentina), emphasizing the appearance of new actors that can concentrate land and water with the benefits of some public policy. On the other hand, we will point out the small and medium productions underlining how they manage their water resources. The methodological strategy of this paper combines the analysis of statistical sources as well as interviews.
