• Resumen

  • The work of the successful Chilean writer Lina Meruane has received little critical attention. Her novel Fruta podrida covers some of the most recurrent themes of her production: women, illness and centre/periphery relations. A theoretical analysis of this text is proposed from the notions of biopolitics and abject, but also from the formal strategies that pursue a decomposed and body writing.
