  • La trabajadora by Elvira Navarro (2014) shows the effects that the global economic crisis has on part of the Spanish society. This novel shows the psychological pathologies caused by a society in crisis, through the degradation of the labour market and the land, displacement and marginalization. Concepts like ‘illness’ or ‘disorder’ not only have a intrapsychic interpretation, but also a social one.
