Resumen de Algumas observações introdutórias sobre o princípio de veritação

Nesse artigo, introduzimos o leitor a algumas das questões centrais do debate. Apresentarei o básico, incluindo o escopo da teoria, as principais variedades de veritação, as leituras da teoria e suas aplicações. Em seguida, tratarei de algumas questões técnicas, relacionadas a compromissos ontológicos, reificação, necessitação e outros temas da metafísica, incluindo a relação entre realidade e verdade.

http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1808-1711.2016v20n2p201 The truth-making principle is one of the main subjects in contemporary metaphysics, and this paper is an elementar exposition of the main issues of the on-going debate. I will proceed as follows. First, I will expose the basics, including the principle’s range, the main kinds of truth-making, the main interpretations of the principle, and some applications. Second, I will expose some technical issues about ontological commitment, reification, necessity, reality, and truth.
