  Tradicionalmente, el análisis de género no ha sido incorporado al desarrollo ni el análisis del Derecho, desconociéndose su importancia y utilidad, sobre todo al momento de garantizar los derechos humanos. Desde las facultades de Derecho, son otros los enfoques que se priorizan en la formación jurídica, lo cual tendrá impacto en el desarrollo profesional de los futuros abogados y abogadas, sobre todo si se incorporan al Ministerio Público o la administración de justicia, por ejemplo. Por ello, es fundamental entender la importancia del análisis de género en la aplicación del Derecho, comprender las dimensiones de este enfoque e identificar los estereotipos de género presentes en la normativa y la jurisprudencia.

  Traditionally, a gender analysis has not been incorporated to the development and analysis of the Law since its importance and utility is unknown, especially for the guarantee of human rights. At Law Schools there are other priorities in the curricula and the lack of a gender perspective will have an impact in the professional development of those future lawyers, especially if they became part of the National Prosecutor Office of the Justice Administration, for example. Thus, it is fundamental to understand the importance of the gender perspective in the law implementation, to realize the dimensions of this approach and to identify the gender stereotypes in the norms and case law.
