    Este es el tercer artículo, de una serie de cuatro, donde pretendo presentar y comentar el desarrollo de las ideas del filósofo español José Ortega y Gasset respecto a la crítica literaria, comprendida como actividad intelectual de particular interés filosófico. La importancia que la literatura asume en el pensamiento y en el estilo orteguiano es tema ya exhaustivamente debatido; el estudio de su labor como crítico literario y sus concepciones sobre la crítica tampoco es tema novedoso; así que mi propuesta no es simplemente la de repetir los caminos de trabajos ya muy bien realizados, sino presentar, a partir de una lectura crítica de las obras de Ortega, una visión particular respecto al desarrollo –en diferentes momentos de su trayectoria intelectual– de sus concepciones sobre la actividad del crítico, con la intención de discutir la actualidad y pertinencia de las ideas del filósofo para el debate literario contemporáneo. En esta tercera parte, se analizan las concepciones de Ortega y Gasset sobre la crítica literaria en su fase «neokantiana».

    This is the third installment, in a fourt part series of articles, where I intend to present and discuss the development of the ideas of the Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset about literary criticism, conceived as an intellectual activity of particular philosophical interest. The importance that literature assumes in Ortegan thought and style is already a subject thoroughly discussed; the study of his work as a literary critic and his views on literary criticism is also not a novel issue; so my proposal is not simply to repeat the paths of works already well done, but to present, from a critical reading of the works of Ortega, a particular view about the development –at different times of his intellectual career– of his conceptions of the activity of the critic, with the intention to discuss the timeliness and relevance of the ideas of the philosopher for contemporary literary debate. In this third installment, the concepts and ideas by Ortega and Gasset during his «neo-kantian» period are analyzed.
