El único testimonio antiguo conservado de la comedia La mayor hazaña de Alejandro Magno atribuye su autoría a Lope de Vega. Con argumentos de diversa índole, principalmente derivados de la comparación con una comedia de atribución segura a Lope, Las grandezas de Alejandro, este artículo pretende demostrar que tal atribución es insostenible.

In the only early textual witness preserved of La mayor hazaña de Alejandro Magno, the authorship of this comedia is attributed to Lope de Vega. Wielding a wide range of arguments, mostly derived from a comparison with Lope’s play Las grandezas de Alejandro, this paper aims to prove that this attribution is unsustainable.
