  • Resumen
    • Factor screening with statistical control is well suited to the discrete-event simulations common in the operations research field. In this study, two methods of factor screening with control of Type I error and power are compared. Both methods are robust with respect to two-factor interactions and non-constant variance. The first method is a sequential method called controlled sequential bifurcation for interactions. The second method uses a fractional factorial design in combination with a two-stage procedure that requires less prior information for controlling power.
