Resumen de La represión en la Universidad de Zaragoza: el papel del Tribunal de Orden Público

La década de los sesenta dio comienzo a un nuevo tipo de protesta universitaria en la que los protagonistas, los objetivos y las acciones contestatarias constituyeron novedad que el régimen no supo reconoce y cuya solución la represión física y judicial. La Universidad de Zaragoza se convirtió en un foco continuo de desafío al régimen. La herramienta jurídica que se utilizó fue la Jurisdicción de Orden Publico y el Tribunal de Orden Publico. El análisis de sus sentencias constituye una fuente primaria de extraordinaria importancia que nos revela que los estudiantes de Zaragoza fueron un elemento activo y crucial de la lucha antifranquista en la capital. El campus fue protagonista de manifestaciones, asambleas y demás muestras de descontento, destacando el Partido Comunista de España en su afán de liderar y promover la movilización estudiantil.

The 1960s began a new type of University protest in which the protagonists, the objectives and the confrontational actions constituted novelty that the regime failed to recognize and whose physical and judicial repression solution. The University of Zaragoza became a continuous focus of challenge to the regime. The legal tool that was used was the jurisdiction of public order and the public order Court. Analysis of judgments constitutes a primary source of extraordinary importance which reveals to us that the students of Zaragoza were active and crucial part of the anti-Franco struggle in the capital. The campus was the protagonist of demonstrations, assemblies and other signs of unrest, highlighting the Communist Party of Spain in their effort to lead and promote the student protests.
