    El artículo presenta los principales postulados del enfoque cooperativo-transformativo; perspectiva didáctica que intenta reforzar las relaciones entre los fundamentos epistemológicos y didácticos de la Geografía. Este tiene como objetivo exponer los fundamentos teórico-metodológicos para la dirección del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Geografía en el contexto escolar. La exposición realizada se apoyó en la utilización de métodos de la investigación educativa, tales como: análisis-síntesis, inducción-deducción, análisis histórico-lógico, análisis de fuentes bibliográficas y enfoque de sistema. El artículo evidencia las potencialidades del enfoque cooperativo-transformativo para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la Geografía en el contexto escolar.

    The article presents the main postulates of the approach cooperative-transformative;

    didactic perspective that he tries to reinforce the relationships among the fundament epistemologists and didactic of the Geography. This has as intention to expose the theoretical-methodological fundament for the orientation of the process of teachinglearning of the Geography in the school context. The carried out exhibition leaned on in the use of methods of the educational research, such as: analysis-synthesis, inductiondeduction, historical-logical analysis, analysis of bibliographical sources and system focus. The article evidences the potentialities of the approach cooperative-transformative for the teaching and the learning of the Geography in the school context.
