  • Resumen
    • Profile monitoring is a quality control technique best used when the process data follow a profile at each time period. Little work has been done on the monitoring of nonlinear profiles, and that work has assumed that the measurements within a profile are uncorrelated. The use of nonlinear mixed models is proposed to monitor the nonlinear profiles to accommodate the correlated structure. The proposed approach uses the separate nonlinear regression model fits to obtain a nonlinear mixed model fit. This results in charts with a superior ability to detect changes in Phase I data.
