  • Resumen
    • Much like presentations are the starting point of many conversations, antigen presentation is at the core of the functions of the adaptive immune system. To effectively recognize a large variety of pathogens, including those living inside host cells, immune cells must be presented with protein or lipid fragments derived from these pathogens. In this light, it is perhaps unsurprising that three of the six latest Nobel prizes awarded to immunologists were related to the process of antigen presentation.
