Este artículo defiende que la subjetividad es un modo particular de ser que se constituye a través de una serie de prácticas en las que el yo está sometido al peligro de hacer ficción de sí mismo, urdir su vida y su auto-imagen. Examino algunos modos de subjetivación a través del relato y de la representación teatral que uno hace de sí mismo ante otros. En ellos se revela una subjetividad actuante capaz de autoconocimiento y de autotransformación.

In this paper, I claim that subjectivity is a way of being that is constituted through a set of practices in which the self is subject to the dangers of fictionalizing and plotting her life and self-image. I examine some ways of becoming subject through narratives and through theatrical performance before others. Through these practices, a real and active subjectivity is revealed, capable of selfknowledge and self-transformation.
