In this article, both, Christian and Muslim faiths are compared. The author shows the differences between them, taking into account five fundamental cores: the notions about Divine Revelation, History of Salvation, God’s being and acting, man’s being and relationship with human culture. Highlighting all those differences, the ambiguity of expressions like «religions of the book», referred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam, or the consideration of Islam as a Biblical religion is evident.
