    The evolution of the community law concerning biofuels is characterized by a late implementation of their support within the framework of the Common Agricultural policy (CAP). Moreover, their interest is today challenged considering the discovery of their many incoveniences which urged the Community institutions to slow down their support for biofuels. However, the promotion by these authorities of the use of the other biofuels is not excluded.

    L'évolution du droit communautaire relatif aux biocarburants se caractérise par une mise en place tardive de leur soutien dans le cadre de la politique agricole commune (PAC). D'autre part, on assiste aujourd'hui à une profonde remise en cause de leurs intérêts face à la mise à jour de leurs nombreux inconvénients poussant ainsi les institutions communautaires à freiner leur soutien à cette filière. Toutefois, la promotion par ces mêmes autorités de l'utilisation d'autres biocarburants n'est pas exclue.
