This paper presents a thorough analy-sis of the "Fifth generation leaders" of the PRC. To this end, we describe the complex Chinese institutional framework and we carry out a de-tailed analysis of the curricula of the twenty five members of the Politburo of the Central Com-mittee of the Chinese Communist Party. As a result, we can see how the "Fifth Generation" builds their power respecting the balance be-tween the "Shanghai Gang" and "Tuanpai Gang". In addition, we see emergence of a new faction in the CCP, the "Xi Jinping Clique" des-tined to roll over China for the next decade. Keywords: China, Chinese Communist Party, CCP Generation of Leaders, Chinese Leadership, Fifth Generation, Xi Jinping Clique
