    Esta investigación analiza la figura del Domingo de Etxeberri (ha. 1575-1630), secretario real y personaje clave en el entramado político y social donostiarra del primer tercio de siglo XVII. Desde sus primeros pasos como criado del secretario Juan de Idiakez hasta su desempeño en diferentes cargos de la administración real, Domingo de Etxeberri permite reconstruir los entresijos del poder de aquella época así como ahondar en sus relaciones sociales

    This research focuses on the figure of Domingo de Etxeberri (cerca 1575-1630), royal secretary and a key figure in the social and political fabric of Donostia-San Sebastián of the first third of the 17th century. Right from his early days as the servant of the secretary Juan de Idiakez to his different posts in the Royal Government, Domingo de Etxeberri managed skilfully the intricacies of the power at that time and of his social relations.

Juan de Idiakez idazkariaren morroi gisa egindako lehen urratsetatik erregeasministrazioan bete zituen karguetaraino, Domingo Etxeberrik garai hartako boterearen nahiz gizarte-harremanen barrukoak berritzeko aukera ematen du.
