Resumen de El sello de patrimonio europeo: Una acción entre cultura y ciudadanía

  El sello de patrimonio europeo (SPE) es una iniciativa cultural de la Unión Europea respaldada por todas sus instituci ones que surge al amparo del artículo 167 TFUE. A diferencia de otras acciones, se vale del patrimonio cultural de los Estados miembros para suavizar la brecha existente entre la realidad de la Unión Europea y la percepción que de ella tienen sus ciudadanos. Para ello maneja un concepto amplio de patrimonio cultural entendido como cualquier sitio natural o artificial, histórico o no, material o inmaterial incluidos los bienes y objetos asociados y el patrimonio contemporáneo, si empre que gocen de valor simbólico para la UE o haya desempeñado un papel significativo en la historia y la cultura de Europa. Su implementación revela que el componente cultural del bien seleccionado es subsidiario de otros objetivos más importantes conectados a la idea de ciudadanía, identidad o mercado único europeos.

  Europako Ondarearen Zigilua Europar Batasunaren ku ltur ekimena da, Europar Batasunaren Funtzionamenduari buruzko I tunaren 167. artikuluaren ba- bespean sortua, eta Batasuneko erakunde guztiek bab estua. Beste ekintza batzuez bestela, Estatu kideen kultur ondarea baliatzen du Europar Batasunaren errealitatearen eta batasuneko herritarrek errealitate horri buruz duten pertzepzioaren arteko etena leuntzeko. Horretarako, kultur ondarearen kon tzeptu zabala erabiltzen du: leku natural edo artifizial guztiak, historikoak zein ez -historikoak, materialak edo ez-materialak, barnean direla horiei lotutako ondasun eta objektuak eta ondare garaikidea, betiere Europar Batasunarentzat balio sinbolikoa ba dute edo Europaren historian eta kulturan zeregin garrantzitsua izan badute.   The European Heritage Label (SPE) is a cultural in itiative of the European Union supported by all its institutions ar ising under Article 167 TFEU.

  Unlike other actions, it uses the cultural heritage of the Member States to smooth the gap between the reality of the European Union and the perception that have its citizens. For this reason, a broad concept of cultural heritage is accepted and includes natural and urban sites, cultural landscap es, places of remembrance, cultural goods and objects and intangible heritage associated with a place and contemporary heritage. They must have a symbolic European value and must have played a significant role in the history and culture of Europe or the building of the Union. Its implementation reveals that the cultural component of the selected heritage is subsidiary to other more important objectives connected to the idea of citizenship, identity or European single market.
