En la España de las últimas décadas del franquismo, la canción de autor se convirtió en vehículo de expresión contra el sistema establecido. La voz de los trovadores del siglo XX fue herramienta de cohesión popular mediante la cual se adoptó una determinada posición ética comprometida social y políticamente. En torno a este género hubo un importante movimiento cultural al cual no fueron ajenas las artes plásticas. Este artículo es una aproximación a la relación entre las creaciones de cantautores y pintores mediante la implicación de estos últimos como ilustradores de carpetas discográficas de la época.

Spain in the last decades of Franco, the author song became a vehicle of expression against the established system. The voice of the troubadours of the twentieth century was popular tool cohesion by which it was adopted a particular social ethics and politically compromised position. Around this genre there was an important cultural movement which were not outside the arts. This article is an approach to the relationship between the creations of singerwriters and painters through the involvement of the latter as illustrators of record folders of the time.
